Hi guys,

I'm currently trying to build a table view with the new Outline view of
NetBeans. So far everything's fine and it's relatively easy to use this
view. I've created a separate TreeModel and RowModel for this as
described in Geertjan's file system browser example.

What I'm wondering is how I can integrate all the nice Node specific
features like lookups and property sheets in this Outline view. Is it
possible to use an already existing Nodes hierarchy just like in a
TreeTableView for example? I'd really like to use Outline instead of
this but I also need context sensitive actions via the lookup of a
represented Node and I need to display property sheets accordingly to
the selected Node (which may be related to the lookup problem).

Can anyone tell me how I can use the best of both worlds together? As
the Outline is from the NetBeans platform I hope it's not missing all
these nice things the other views have...

Marco
