There is a checkbox titled 'Transparent floating windows' in 'Tools | Options | Miscellaneous | Appearance' panel; can you check if it can be turned off? (On my system, it is checked by default, but is grayed out).

regards,
karthik

There is a feature I need to turn off. When I undock the output window from the main NB window and move it to my second monitor when I focus on NB again the output window goes partially transparent making it difficult to see specially when it is over another window.

I need to make the output window opaque all the time instead of only when it has focus.
