I've been using Netbeans at home for about 4 months with no problem, but yesterday when I tried to create a new project, the new project wizard would not allow me to create it because the "Project Folder cannot be created." The "Finish" button is grayed out and it doesn't seem to matter where I try to create the project (My Documents, Desktop, root directory, etc.) - the result is always the same. I went as far as to uninstall Netbeans (however I kept my saved settings) and then reinstall it, to no avail.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thanks in advance,

| I've found that if I create a project folder before creating the project, then I can create a project only if it has the exact same name as the existing folder. Could this have something to do with directory permissions? It's quite an irksome thing to do every time I want to create a new project, but for now I suppose it's a viable workaround. |

There could be a possibility where netbean modules were not properly updated.
Try this:-
1. Remove .netbeans folder from c:\users\<user>\
Needless to say that you need to take a backup before deleting the folder.
2. Uninstall netbeans.
3. Install again. |
