How to easily create restful service java client in Netbeans 6.8? i mean the way similar to create web service java client? thx!

  • You can register the restful service in the IDE's Web Services Register (in Services tab) and drag and drop operations into your code. See the SaaS tutorials.
  • For web applications, try New > Other > Web Services >RESTful Web Service Client Stubs
Note that NetBeans 6.9 will be out in a few weeks. There is enhanced Java client generation for RESTful resources in 6.9. Try the RESTful Client in NetBeans Modules tutorial. The same functionality demonstrated there for Modules is available for Java applications and Web applications.
