Task scanning not working with 6.9.1 in Windows XP

I just installed Netbeans 6.9.1 in my Windows XP build VM and moved my project from Solaris to
that Windows VM. I had to install Cygwin to get a C/C++ build environment it recognized, but
now as I try to configure it I found that task scanning does not seem to be working.

I seem to recall other people had reported that as well. Now I am wondering if some plugin
needs to be added and/or activated to get this to work.

Previously this worked on my Solaris version for both Java and C/C++ with no problems. I even
added a couple of key words for my own use and they worked great as well.

I have JDK 6 Build 20 installed. I am avoiding 21 because of all the issues that have been
reported with it.

Any suggestions?
