You must add the value binding for the fields in the designer.
Click with the right mouse-button on the Component and click "Add binding
attribute".
Now you can access the component in the backing bean by getter and setter.
Example:

private TextField textFieldR1 = new TextField();

public TextField getTextFieldR1() {
return textFieldR1;
}

public void setTextFieldR1(TextField tf) {
this.textFieldR1 = tf;
}

getTextFieldR1().getValue()

Smile But I have fields binded to the RequestBean properties.
I know how to access fields. But how to keep them when switching amongs
tabs.
It looks like only visible fields are transmited during page navigation.
