When I try to open or save a file or project in NetBeans, in Ubuntu, it doesn't let me navigate to the path behind the Ubuntu file system partition. so I can't access any other drives (such as the ACER drive, or the DATA drive ) or any external storage devices in netbeans.
Can anyone help me with this? |

Hello,
I have NetBeans on Ubuntu like you. I don't have this problem. When you use the "Save as..." menu, you have a simplified display inside your current directory. But did you see that there is an icon allowing you to go up one level as many times you want? (This icon shows a folder and a black arrow going up into this folder).
This arrow allows you to go up until you reach the system root ("/"). Then from there you can access any disc, for instance if you click on "media"...
Is this as simple as that or did i miss something? |

Hi,
is NetBeans running on JDK6 or JDK7 ? JDK7 is still buggy (we have the same kind of issues on Windows + JDK7). |
