I'm working on a few completely separate projects.

While I can have all these separate projects listed in the Projects window, NetBeans seems to offer me only one "environment", so switching between projects means closing everything from one and re-opening everything I need (or my last finishing state) in the new project.

KDevelop has "Sessions" in which I can group related projects and exclude unrelated ones, and which will keep their own history.

Does NetBeans have anything like this?

Well, NB7.1, has a notion of Project Groups --- under the File Menu, that might work for you.

If you are in an older NB I vaguely remember seeing a plugin that does Sessions, but I can be wrong.

Regards.
