I am zorry write in spanish but is my language principally

I use NetBeans as my heavyweight IDE, and I've developed a few personal projects in it. My employer prefers the other big open-source Java IDE, so my use of NB is purely personal. I much prefer NB, especially because it's so easy to install -- no hunting for 1e6 extra plugins to add basic features that are already built into NB.
One simple open-source project I developed in NetBeans is "dvorcode" which is on SourceForge. Hardly any NetBeans features were used for such a simple program, but I did use the JUnit support and I also used Matice to develop the GUI because it is much simpler than mucking about with LayoutManagers by hand, even for dvorcode's simple interface.
As I slowly learn new NB stuff, I like to blog about it. One of those blogs became a Tips and Tricks article on the NetBeans community documentation site. I can highly recommend this site for new users.
About IDE/Editor wars: Gosling says emacs users should "just stop", but I still prefer emacs for q&d hacks. The neat part about NetBeans is that it's easy to "upgrade" to a Project in the IDE after your hack grows beyond a couple of files. |

OMG, I love netbeans! It saves you a lot of time doing things that you already know how to do but there's just not enough time to do them!
I've been using netbeans for over 4 years now and I gotta say it's the perfect IDE! I use a lot of different platforms (win, Mac, unix) so it's really great when u can use your favorite IDE on any platform
Happy bday Netbeans! |

I have been using NetBeans for a long time. I use it for all of my professional work, and at my JUG meetings. There are a number of Eclipse users in our JUG, but slowly they are becoming NetBeans users.
The intuitive design and layout make it a dream to develop with. Its generally singular purpose: making it easier and less error prone to code, prove its worth. Other IDEs may do many more things, but NONE can match NetBeans in Java.
Thanks NetBeans team, Sun, and the many community contributors in making NetBeans a success today. I can't wait to post a happy 20th. _________________ You get more with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone. |

NB 3.0 to NB6.5 is my journey with NB and it does not stop there. There is only one direction we both look - ALL AHEAD FULL THROTTLE. _________________ Manikantan |

I have only a 1.5 years of Experience in NetBeans. But, only these short span of time, what I found about NetBeans is that, It is cool, self complete, self managed & most developer friendly IDE, I found ever in Java.
Before NetBeans, I was really facing much more trouble in Layout while designing, But Now, I love to do......Yes, The POWER of One & Only NetBeans......
Thans a lot. _________________ Best Regards,

To be honest, when i started programming i didn't like to do anything from netbeans.i got familiar with it because of J2ME.it's the best IDE to develop mobile applications.i now i'm really happy to use netBeans because it's so easy with new features and helped me to improve my programming skills.
NetBeans is the BEST.... |
