Netbeans closes when adding java applet project to web application

Hello,

I am using Netbeans 7.1.1, glassfish server 3.

I am creating a java applet project. This is new for me, so I am following the tutorial at: http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/applets.html

I followed the exact steps of the above tutorial. But at the step:
Embedding an Applet in a Web Application -> Add the applet JAR file to the web project -> point number 2.
When I go to Package and click on Add Project, it hangs for 2-3 seconds then IDE closes. I have updated the IDE. I cannot figure out why this is happening.

Can anyone pls help me?

I figured out a way to solve this.
I run netbeans as administrator and this has solved my problem.
so its working....
