So ive been working on a personal project, and i cant figure out how to get the .exe file (the one you get by going to the \dist\Debug\Cygwin_4.x-Windows) to see a text file that i made in the project directory. It works fine when i run it in NetBeans, but it gives me an empty output when i run the .exe. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You can copy the text file to dist\Debug\Cygwin_4.x-Windows or run your program from the project home:

c:\...\myproject> dist\Debug\Cygwin...\myproject

either way should work.
