GUI components problem (.form interaction?)

Hi everybody,

I hope somebody can help me with this, as I am getting very desperate now...
I use Netbeans to develop a GUI for an application. After putting some
components together, it seems to go crazy and doesn't display the components
properly. Some are okay, but others are broken.
I am not sure if it's a bug in Netbeans, i.e. the way the code is written in
the java file and the .form?

Please see the attached image for details - you can see that the button is
not displaying properly and the titled border of a panel at the bottom is
not showing.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
