An instance of the program cannot access specified user directory.
This is a serious problem that may prevent the program to function properly.
Make sure /dev is writable.

Dear aws,
I had the same error prompt.
The cause was, my user directory (/home/my_name/.netbeans/7.1.2) contained directories and files with access for root only.
I deleted all files and directories within the directory 7.1.2.
After that netbeans started without any error.
Kind regards
Dirk
P.S. /dev seems to be an unusal user directory. |
