Missing documentation zip file: docs/css21-spec.zip

I'm currently using NetBeans 6.9 on Ubuntu 11.04 specifically for web development with css and php (learning). However, when I'm writing CSS (above the code hints), I get what looks like an error message in red stating:

I'm having the same issue. Does anyone have an idea as to what the solution is?
I'm experiencing this problem when editing a css file in netbeans 6.9 when trying to ctrl space on font family

You can try this. At least it worked for me in Linux Mint 10 which is based on ubuntu.

I have attached the documentation file with this reply, download and copy it in to the directory: "/usr/share/netbeans/ide13/docs/".

This location comes under root and therefore either login with root priveleges or open the folder as administrator.

After copying the file change the file's permission to read for others, or else it may not be read by the program, as it was in my case.

Now try again in the ide and see if you can get the hints displayed.

Thanks for that information. I haven't yet gone through it but I soon will. However and with that said, just after posting this thread -I just installed NB7 and so far it is working great. I'm not having the same problems with NetBeans 7 as I was with 6.9. So in short, the fix that I came up with was to simply install and use NetBeans 7.

Ya, I would have also done this:-), but I have a limited internet connection, and that too crawls:-(, so I had to find a solution for this. I had to copy the file from Netbeans installation folder from Windows 7. Anyways, I will too move to NB7 shortly.
