cant run java me app

I installed netbeans with Java MEprojects/mobile apps.
ON my laptop win7 I get an error when testing my app as the emulator fails to appear?

*** Error ***
Failed to connect to device 6!
Reason:
Emulator 6 terminated while waiting for it to register!

Pl let know the computer configuration if RAM is not adequate it may not display the emulator

hello,

im a total newbie in netbeans and im having the same problem. I even try to reinstall an older version of netbeans (6.9.1) and still cant run my first midlet.

this is the message i got in my lat attempt to run a SAMPLE PROJECT. I mean not even those run!!!

I have the Dell precision with OptiPlex 790SFF Small Form Factor which has 8 GB DDR3 Non-ECC SDRAM, 1333MHz. I hope that you getting my computer configuration an d help me that why I getting problem on net beans.
