Hi

I'm having a problem using the drag and drop utility for the GUI editor for Netbeans 7.1 when using Java 7.

I've created two simple JPanels (ParentPanel and ChildPanel) with only a JLabel on each one identifying it, and when I try to drag ChildPanel on to ParentPanel I get an error saying it cannot be added.

I tried changing the Java version back to 6 and doing a clean and build on the project and I was able to drag the ChildPanel on to the ParentPanel as normal.

I've included a couple of screenshots.

Is there a known bug with Java 7 when using the GUI editor?

Thanks for your time.

No problems.

Thanks, I'm going to double check again with my team including doing a fresh install to make sure it isn't an issue only on my pc.

Hi

Thanks again as it looks like the issue is resolved by installing 7.1.2.
