Hello everybody,

This is probably my last post here, so I will say farewell to everyone, hoping that you will have success with your developing.

As to me, after having posted more than 200 answers on this forum, I made the mistake to use the french language to help someone. This is not allowed here, my post was blocked and I received a threat: if I do that again I will be kicked from the forum users.

I tried to contact the webmasters, asking them how I could help this user. So far I received no answer. So before being kicked I prefer quitting in good terms.

I liked using NetBeans and am still grateful to have been allowed to download it for free. I hope that this tool still has a future, you certainly can guess why I say this...

Goodbye, have a nice day.

Hi there,

The email you received might have been an auto-generated mail sent by
the forum / list software, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that.

I'm sure the list moderators (if there are any) are more tolerant of
human errors, especially when you posted out of good will.

And the non-response from the "web master"? It's might be a dead
address, or it might be that no one's manning it.

cheers.

netero,

I think that you just received a standard communication and this wasn't a
way to blame you or an attempt to kick you away! :-)

Please stay here and just subscribe to the french-language mailing list:

http://netbeans.org/community/lists/top.html#localised

and use english here, and french there. It's simple.

Well, the subject of community supported languages (such as French) is a bit touchy. Oracle has decided to drop these, so people planning to use Netbeans will have to start learning English (or Chinese or Portuguese...).

IMHO, localized support groups can be organized at the local Java Users
Group, where people can get help on national language.
In a global world, learning (and communicating) in English is a plus
more than a odd.

Regards,

Edson.
