Ik have installed Netbeans and a WAMP server.
I have made a new project in Netbeans with an index.php.
When I run this project I get the error:
Error 404: The requested URL Localhost/Phpproject1/Index.php was not found on this server

How can I solve this?

The WAMP server is running.
When I activate localhost I get the WAMPserver homepage

I am not familiar with maintaining servers.
Phpinfo -> PHP version 5.3.0 information
Phpmyadmin -> localhost/phpmyadmin/ phpMyadmin screen......
Get a danger issue: "Your configuration file contains information (root without a password) related to the Mysql account....

Do I have to initially setup a database or other important issues to make my netbeans project running on the wamp server: localhost/Myproject1/index.php?

I cannot use Netbeans now for my PHP development projects......

I have found instructions from:

http://hassoon3.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/developing-php-with-netbeans-7-0-1-and-wamp2-2-server/

Now it is working.

HOWEVER:
I cannot install Xdebug.
I get the error:
Xdebug does not work with VC6. Upgrade/ compilePHP to VC9.
Is there a netbeans version with PHP VC9 support?

I have problems in properly running netbeans with WAMP.
Who can help me in solving this problem with less effort/ troubles???

After long time of problem solving I have found a solution of using the correct version of XAMPP with VC9 for a VC9 xdebug for Netbeans 2.7.1.

I have installed XAMPP 1.7.2 on Windows 7 with XDebug and Netbeans 2.7.1

Download xampp-win32-1.8.1-VC9-installer.exe
Install
Download php_xdebug-2.2.1-5.4-vc9.dll
Place it in C:\xampp\php\ext
Edit C:\xampp\php\php.ini add:
zend_extension = “C:\xampp\php\ext\php_xdebug-2.2.1-5.4-vc9.dll”[xdebug]
xdebug.remote_enable=on

xdebug.remote_host=Localhost

xdebug.remote_port=9000

xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp

The xdebugger did not work: I got the message:

Stop debugger: Get error: No connection from xdebug was detected. Xdebug not properly installed or configured. Be sure php.ini:

xdebug.remote_enable=on

xdebug.remote_host=Localhost

xdebug.remote_port=9000

xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp

I changed the Port to 9001 (in php.ini and in netbeans Tools: Options: PHP: Debugging: Debugger port: 9001 and now the xdebug is running in Netbeans HOWEVER:
Now the debugger keeps on running (url tab (verbinden)) and I cannot see the output of the step into or step over.And in Netbeans netbeans-xdebug is running.

DO I have to adjust some properties?
Netbeans:
File: Projectproperties: Sources: Test folder ?
File: Projectproperties: Run configuration: Advanced: Debug url: Default: http://localhost/PhpProject1/index.php
Debugger proxy: Host: ? Port: 9001

Who can help me? I am two days busy with installing the proper xamp netbeans and xdebugger combination and it is still not working.

Anyone who has experienced similar troubles feels your pain -- myself included. I've done this dozens of times on 3 different OS! It's different and confusing each time.

Finally I discovered that the output of the xdebug steps appear in a seperate output window.

I expected that the output should appear in the URL localhost.

I also wanted this, but it is working now.
