Hi,
Most PHP developers use(for development only) one of the solutions like
WAMP, XAMP, UniformServer, or some other
??AMP. (why is that? I'm not sure, but most of them are using one of
those, maybe because of the "separation" from the rest
of the system).
To make nbPHP even more appealing to PHP developers, I think NB should
detect or make it easier
to work with them, i.e. just require to specify the "root" directory of
e.g. UniformServer, and from there
NB should detect the required things: Apache, PHP interpreter, MySQL, etc.
This would be a *huge* help for the users, as of now it's pretty much
work to setup all the elements that
form such a distribution (and are needed in most PHP projects).
Any plans for such an approach?
Thank you,
Demetrios. |
