Code:
2010-07-18 15:20:06.403 GMT : Am Port 1527 auf dem Host localhost war kein Empfang m??glich:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind

When I stop (leave) the Netbeans 6.9 IDE and start it again, then the next server start (application Run) results in an error sayin that port 1527 is already in use.

When I look into Windows (7) task manager I see a java.exe still running (from the previous launch probably). I first have to leave netbeans, kill this java.exe process and then start it again to get clean initial conditions.

Weird somehow.

I examined it a bit further. It seems that when terminating Netbeans 6.9 the internal JAVA DB stays in core (a java.exe with a 30K footprint).

When I start NB a javaw.exe and two java.exe are started. One is about 360K and the other that 30K java.exe which, as said, is not terminated, when NB terminates.

Thus with a subsequent start the Java DB finds a process listening to port 1527 already resulting in this error.

IMO, a bug in NB.

Thanks for sharing with us...I have found that many of the members don't update their posts after they found a solution. Doing what you did benefits us all. Thanks again!
