Can anyone please describe when do I need to use rebase and when merge on netbeans?
I'm having a hard time finding info on this topic.

Is this in relation to GIT?

Yeah, so these are just nb actions for interfacing with git
So the like above is a really good resource for understanding how merge and rebase work


I would also highly recommend taking a look to https://help.github.com/articles/using-git-rebase-on-the-command-line/ and https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2


(GitHub is just a place to host git repositories...)


Anyways I would recommend using the git command line interface always Wink
