I use netbeans to cross-compile on my Raspberry PI.

Suddenly my code didn't do what is was suspected to do.

It seemed that netbeans failed to overwrite the files on the raspberry while building.

My previous code kept on returning after a build.

I also get this message :
"some project file copies where modified remotely"

What does this mean?

Hi,

This behavioru can be caused by 2 different reasons:
1) files that are changed locally are not copied to remote host
2) they are, but due to some reason (for example, time difference
between hosts) they do not affect build.

You assume the 1-st reason, there is no evidence that it's not the
second one.

The most reliable way to check is to see the content of the remote file.
When you build your project, there is a button that represent on the
toolbar to the left of the output window. If you press it, the terminal
on your remote host will be opened, and the current directory will be
exactly the directory your build takes place. Then you can use vi or
grep or cat commands for the file of interest.

Another way is - try launching "Clean & Build" instead of "Build" - will
it help? Clean&biuld does not differ from Build in the way the files ary
synced. So if the (2) is true, this should help.

The former way seems more reliable to me though.

Once we know the real reason we'll think of a workaround (and sure I'll
do my best to fix this in code)
