Hi Dmitry,
it's good to hear that you're going to fix the "add JBoss server" issue by the end of this month. I've also encountered this problem with NetBeans 6.5 and JBoss 5.0.0 GA (I'm using fedora 10 64bit by the way). As a fallback option, I registered my other AS which is a GlassFish v2.
But this proves me that it is impossible to create e.g. an enterprise application in NetBeans 6.5 if you don't have a server installed at the moment. Am I right? And if yes, isn't it a bug? Because I think so... I'm not so familiar with NetBeans, if there is a workaround to create an EAR without having a server registered, just let me know, I'm interested.
BR,

Dimitry's workaround works.
Copy the following files from jboss-5.0.0.GA\common\lib\ to jboss-5.0.0.GA\server\default\lib\
"jboss-javaee.jar"
"lib/jboss.jar"
"lib/jbosssx.jar"
"lib/jmx-adaptor-plugin.jar"
"lib/jnpserver.jar"
"lib/log4j.jar"
Thanks. |

| How do I apply the workaround in the plain Java NetBeans 6.5 IDE? |

| Got the same issue with NetBeans 6.8 and JBoss 4.0.4 with no default domain (seems like my custom domain doesn't match for NetBeans) |
