I ran the updatetool to add JSF2 to GF3. Now I make a dynamic web project,
using GF3 as the server. It adds "Glassfish libraries" that contain all the
usual EE JARs (as it should) but not JSF (which is a problem)
Ok, so I add the JSF libraries by hand.
That turns out to be quite toxic. The Glassfish libraries are then dropped
(!), and I can never get them back (other than removing and recreating the
project).
Did anyone succeed in running JSF 2 with NetBeans? Thanks in advance for any
hints!
Cay

I haven't tried this myself. However, I did notice that installing JSF2.0 breaks
the admin console of GFv3. I think your issue should be reported to the GF team.
Would you be interested in reporting this issue? There is a GlassFish Quality
Community (I'm a member) that would love your input. Please see
http://wiki.glassfish.java.net/Wiki.jsp?page=FishCATFAQ
or contact me directly if you have any questions.
If you're not interested in participating, would you please tell me how to
reproduce your steps so I can log the issue?
Thanks in advance,

By the way, Early Access build 36 was released this week. Does the problem also
occur with that version?
Thanks, Wouter

I'll be glad to file an issue. Do I really need to sign the SCA in order to
get access to the issue tracker?

No you don't. However, there is a membership form mentioned in the FAQ. Please
have a look at that.
Thanks, Wouter

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the
Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced
by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
