|

Hi,
I'm using Netbeans6.1.
As I told I have a problem with adding emulator.
Of course I can do that as below URL,
http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120774
But I want to know what is the KEY to search emulators.
Why some emulators are founded and other emulators aren't?
And why did I get 'Invalid platform name' error?
Please let me know about it.
Regards. |

If you'd like to learn how it works try to debug classes which extends
CustomCLDCPlatformConfigurator ( module api.mobility) while you adding
emulator to the Netbeans Mobility. You need Netbeans Source code for it.
This page halps you to download and compile sources.
http://wiki.netbeans.org/HowToDownloadCompileNetBeans
Using this class CustomCLDCPlatformConfigurator it is relatively easy
to create plugin to support additional Java ME emulators.

Right click on (j2me)project -> properties
Select platform from popup window
Click manage emulators button
Click on Add Platform
You will get a pop wizard window...
Select Java ME platform emulator(2nd option) and proceed
Select your emulator installed location and search
It will find available emulator and you can chose any emulator you wish
For more emulators http://www.j2meemulators.blogspot.com/
