|
|
Hi guys.
After installing 6.7M2 on Linux, I'm unable to get breakpoints to
stop. When I click the debug button, it pauses on the first line in
script/server, even though I don't have a breakpoint there. Then when
I click Continue, it runs the server properly but without breakpoint
support. I also notice that in the drop down menu from the debug
button, "Debug Project" is grayed out...the only option is "Attach
debugger"...which i assume is what's running when I click it. Anyone
else seeing this? Is there a fix?
Thanks!

Hi John,
I don't think this a known issue. If you're not using the bundled JRuby,
did you update the debugger gems to the latest versions?
The debugger is known to not work when you're on Linux and the project
you're trying to debug resides on a Win partition, but that's probably
not your case? Does anything else in
http://wiki.netbeans.org/RubyDebugging#section-RubyDebugging-Troubleshooting
help? If not, could you please file an issue for this as per the
instructions on the above wiki page, and it would also helpful if you
can try whether command line debugging works (instructions for that too
on the same page).
Thanks,
Erno
