Just getting started with the NetBeans IDE and I like what I'm seeing after abandoning ZDE. I do have a couple of questions:
1. How do I add multiple source folders to a given project? I have a project called "TestProject" that should contain files from both "c:\test\folder1" and files from "c:\test\folder7". I don't want to just set "c:\test\" as the project root because that will include files I don't need or want in my project.
2. How do I skip the blasted "New File" wizard and just open a blank file? I hate New File wizards!!!
Any help would be absolutely appreciated. |

Hi,
1. could you please provide a use case for the first question? I think
there is no way at the moment but if the use case will be interesting we
could think about that.
2. I think the fastest way is to us context dialog, e.g. right click on
folder you want to place your new file, choose a type and then confirm
dialog ... sorry I don't see quicker way. Somebody else does?
Thanks.

I've the same problems. Directory structure is often given (and big).
What if only 2 folders of hundreds are needed for an project? In that
case, instead of having only of 20-30 files I need, NB includes all
folders, which have hundreds of thouthends of files.
