Hello,
I have installed Netbeans 6.5 on my windows vista on my laptop. I have also installed NOKIA SDK S40 6th edition.
I have JDK update 12 installed as well.
Nokia sdk s40 6th edition emulator works standalone.

On "add platform" in Netbeans for J2me, it doesn't recognise Nokia SDK. I saw in some other FAQ that copying SDK to .netbeans/<ver>/emulator/.... would solve the problem. I couldn't even find a emulator directory.

any pointers on how to solve the problem ?

I tried with Netbeans 6.1 and hit the same issue.

You need to uninstall JDK 12 for Netbeans to work properly. Then ensure you know where it installs as sometimes it doesn't pick it up
