Is there a IDE variable i can supply to the arguments field of a run configuration that would present me with a dialog box to enter my arguments when when I run a script/command?

My use case is with framework command line utilities like symfony/pake/phing, rake, etc..

For those familiar with Eclipse this would be analogous to the ${string_prompt} variable.

Hi,

I think there isn't such a variable, unfortunately. Seems like a good
idea though -- if you like, please file an issue for this at
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi (not sure now what would be
the right component, best to use 'ide'). However, you can always create
multiple Run Configurations (e.g. for each framerwork) and use the combo
box next to the run button for choosing an appropriate config before
running. Maybe not as convenient, but would that work for you?

BR,
Erno
