Hi,
are there any plans for integrating PHP Profiling?
I mean just click on button profile and then NB funs file to collect
profiling data and then starts appropriate application to view results
of profiling
http://www.xdebug.org/docs/profiler
Would be very nice to have it in NB :)

Yes, this would be a very good and useful feature to have!

| What exactly NetBeans should do for you?
Let you enable/disable profiling && choose output directory && specify
appropriate application (UI analyzer) path. Then we would also need to
ask for path to php.ini && ask you to make php.ini writable if
necessary. Finally we would start the analyzer application.
If I'm right in the paragraph above, then I don't think how much handy
it would be. Opinion?

xdebug collects data for profiling anyway (if enabled), path is
configured in php.ini, users would do that just while configuring
xdebug for debugging. So profiling function in NB should just run a
script and open profiling .out file with appropriate application.
| Then for executing PHP scripts should be easy to achieve it just now.
Create new run configuration, choose "Run As Script", uncheck "Use
Default PHP Interpreter" and for "PHP Interpreter" browse some script or
bat file wrapping default interpreter by adding one last line for
starting analyzer application. Makes it sense?

I use http://code.google.com/p/webgrind/ with xdebug for my profiling.
