I suggested our firm to migrate from Websphere Application server to Glassfish Application server.
They were worried about enterprise support , and after I informed them that Enterprise support for Glassfish also available, they are still worried about the the server compatibility for our existing Java Applications (EJB 2.1 + Servlets,JSP,Struts) They all were created with Websphere Application Developer IDE, hence they have no doubt when they deploy those EARs on Websphere Application Server.
I need to know ...
whether we can deploy any EAR (created with EJB 3.0+Hibernates+Servlets and common technologies except ESB) using 'Net Beans' on 'Websphere Application Server'?
Will these EARs created using NetBeans' be compatible with any application server?(Simply, are they server independent?) |
