I suppose you're using Windows OS?
In 6.7 you may install the Bundled Subversion client from the
Update center.
Open Tools > Plugins, choose the Available Plugins tab and select
'Bundled Subversion Client for Windows'. After installing and IDE
restart you should see thus plugin in Tools > Plugins > Installed.
Now IDE should use the bundled 1.6 client and you files should be
correctly recognized.
|
Hi,
it doesn't help.
|
Labels for files are correct (blue if changed). However, diff sidebar
shows hole file wrongly green, would mean all lines are added, which
is not true
|
|
Subversion in IDE probably uses the command line client (i need to see
the message.log to be sure) and our internal metadata parser (that's why
you can see correct statuses). But I can't say why the Bundled
Subversion Client for Windows is not used even if you have installed it.
Look at Tools > Options > Miscelaneous > Versioning > Subversion and
check the field 'Path to SVN executable file' - if it points to the
correct commandline client and if that's truly 1.6 version.
|
the field is empty. What should it be pointed to?
|
It should point to the executable subversion client (e.g. C:\Program
Files\Subversion\svn)
|
Oh, I've thought I should point to the file svn.exe and could not pick
the file. Now I understand, I should give path to _directory_ where it
is
Ok. It doesn't help either, if using different userdir. For default
folder everything is fine. Will use only default userdir. For me it is
ok, but obviously bug in plugin manager of IDE
What is the purpose of bundled client?

I've noticed, after installing plugin IDE doesn't restart if I use
diffrent directory as default. I.e. I have start command netbeans.exe
--userdir "c:\otherdir". So I need start without --userdir flag
install plugin and then it is usable by other userdir.

| The bundled client (available only fow Win 32 OS) is a set of dynamic
libraries with a subversion client. So you don't have to install any
external program (Collabnet subversion client, etc.).

| Quote: | Hi,
I've updated windows svn client to 1.6 and now NB shows
all my files
as new, because it has subverstion 1.5*, I suppose.
I've tried to
uninstall subversion but IDE does't restart and
subversion remains
installed. Is there a way to upgrade to 1.6 or at least
uninstall
subversion from NB?
I'm using 6.7beta and also tried out 6.7rc1 with the
same result.
