Hi:

I am trying to create a CDC Application in NB 6.5.1
I have SDK 3.0 installed. I can create only CLCD Applications with it.
Is it possible to create CDC Applications with NB 6.5.1?

Thanks

Hi,
The SDK enables CDC development, but in 6.5.1 it's necessary to register
the platform for CDC in addition to as a CLDC platform. In 6.7 this
issue is fixed.

The FAQ instructions here are here
http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqJavaMESDKinstall

But I pasted the FAQ to this email.

1. From the Main Menu, choose Tools > Java Platforms.
2. Click Add Platform. The Add Java Platform Manager dialog opens.
3. Select Java ME CDC Platform Emulator and click Next.
4. Find the folder on your system that contains the Java ME SDK. The
default directory on Windows is C:\Java_ME_platform_SDK_3.0. Click
Next.
5. Click Finish. The IDE registers the CDC platform.

Let me know if this works for you.

Cheers,
Brad

It does not work - Finish button does not highlight on the "Chose Platform Folder" step 2 of the wizard

Java_ME_platform_SDK_3.0 is not recognized as the CDC Platform Emulator folder.

Thanks

Just installed NetBeans 6.7 RC3 - CDC seems to be all in place.

Will give it a shot.

Thanks
