|

longtime user, just upgraded to nb67 from nb65. i'm using the "java se" download bundle, ie _not_ "java", since i use my own tomcat and don't need glassfish
added the "Java Web Applications" plugin, and i can edit javascript and deploy my webapp. but i can't get the "javascript libraries", ie "javascript libraries" isn't listed under the project properties dialog, or in the library manager dialog. what i ultimately want is the dojo javadocs to work (again)
which plugins do i need to install ?
this is a widely advertised feature and it worked in netbeans 6.5

|

downloaded the docs DrTebi linked to for jquery, and it was just commented javascript. and it worked in netbeans for me. so i tried the same thing with dojo. and nothing ... every method gave "no comments found". damn ! even when i opened up the dojo source, it wouldn't help with the methods in the same file. and i figured that was f'd since netbeans is aware of my code, which follows the dojo conventions, so it must be somewhat aware
so on a hunch, i quit, removed the .netbeans/var/cache directory and started back up. and everything works. code completion, api docs, parsing my own dojo-inspired code ... details _________________ my blog |
