What component are you talking about? Can you provide more details?

I use Apache's MyFaces components as a supplement for Sun's reference implementation, and it works well and is fairly easy to set up.

thank you

I mean "woodstock-basic" "file upload" component.
I don't want to pick up the file by browse button.
uploaded file is static and it must be displayed
automatically.

in Apache's MyFaces file upload interface, can we
enter the file to be uploaded by javascript ?
or can it have default file value ?

regards

I'm sure that you can simply set the field value through javascript. Have you tried it? In addition, you need to set the following attribute on the FORM tag:

Quote:
enctype='multipart/form-data'
