|

Hi.
I start to design mobile app and after adding more than 100 "Alert" item on workpad Netbeans go REALY slow.
After choosing component and placing it on workpad I waiting about 15-seconds while IDE is going back to work.
Choosing another Item to change properties also need more than 10-15 seconds.
Try open project on different computers and OS with powerfull CPU: Intel Core Duo, AMD Athlon 64 on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux - the same. All is very slow.
With this speed IDE I will be waste time for waiting. Very much time.
What have I do to work normaly?
Tnx. |

I think they know, http://markmail.org/message/7dibnow46vpsbdlb , but there
is no patches that I know, if you find any workaround please send it cause I
have the same problem for a long time, since version 6.0.
Cheers,
Wadi

You may try to split your design/application into more that one class.
Unfortunately it needs to be done at the beginning. Less components in
your Visual Designer Class may speed up development process and also
reduce amount of code in one class. You may want to look at this FAQ:
