I've been having issues with code competion for a while now.
I use the latest development builds (currently 2009-04-27_03-03-55).

And I don't seem to get any of the native php functions in code completion. I saw an issue from an old version that had problems with changes in the structure of the documentation from php.net.

Is anyone having this problem?

if you can reproduce with a clean userdir [1], please file an issue [2].

Thanks,

just upgraded to 6.7.
uninstalled 6.5.

tried deleting the user directory and let it recreate it.

PHP autocomplete is not showing all of the PHP functions that 6.5 did.
things like file_get_contents or html_encode.

the basic ones like echo and isset are there, but that is it.

any suggestions?

additional notes:
after creating a new project, the files for the project have the complete function list in auto complete. still nothing when opening a file from FTP.

Hi,

it supposed to be working in 67. Try to restart netbeans with the same
userdir and it should be working again.

Anyway, this is a serious bug and you can get us some steps to reproduce
and attach messages.log (<userdir>/var/log/messages.log) then don't
hesitate to reopen bug
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=162982.

Thanks a lot!

ok. been away, but reopened bug.

- i uninstalled 6.5 again yesterday - installed 6.7.1.
- chose to import the settings w/ the installer
- opening a random php file from my hard drive or FTP - functions & documentation are missing
- create a new file - functions & documentation are complete

i can post logs from 6.5 & 6.7.1
