hi,

is there any thing, that i can do. that the tabs doesn't stack?
if u select a line und like:
[tab][tab]Hi!

and press tab again you will got this:
[tab][tab][tab]Hi!

but that is not expected behavior. eclipse and other editors do it correct.
the expected behavior is:
[tab]Hi!

thank u!

Hi.

try this: In tools->options->editor>formatting disable "extend tabs to
spaces", set indentation to 4 spaces and tab size to 8. Then when you
press tab it should make tab of 4 spaces and when you press again it
will make next 4 spaces and create a tab that has 8 so you will have one
bigger tab of 8 spaces in the end.

Hope it's gonna work for you as expected!
Regards,

hi,

thanks, but that isn't the solution Sad

if u select a line with 2 tabs and u press tab again, u will got 3 tabs, but the the expected behavior is one tab. the editor doesn't replace the tabs, he stack it.

Try holding shift while you tab. It will then go one tab stack backwards.
