Hi, I am trying to add the blackberry platform, but when I go to create a new project and select the blackberry platform when I click NEXT nothing happens.

A few questions when setting up the blackberry JDE as a custom ME MIDP emulator.
Can i choose any random Platform Name and Device Name? or should I use certain values?

Even when I use certain values (i saw the 7290 supported under JDE 4.1, so im assuming its supported under 4.2?) it still doesnt work.

File>New Project>Java ME>Mobile Application>fill out, next>Select Rim as the emulator platform, select 7290 as the device,
CLDC 1.1 is radioed, so is MIDP 2.0>click next...nothing happens, click Finish, all buttons gray out, dialog box stays up, nothing happens, then i can click the X to close the dialog box

Any help would be appreciated

You can try the blackberry JDE plugin for NetBeans.
