I tested on Windows 7 with 6.7.1 php only and 6.7.1 full (features on
demand installed as well). I didn't reproduce this . Issue that looks
similar to this is http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=162982
that was transplanted to 67release . Therefore shouldn't occur in 6.7.1.
Could you try to run your netbeans with a fresh userdir? You run it from
command line using command like
C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.7.1\bin>netbeans.exe --userdir
c:\userdirs\200909231
The other think that could help is related to "Feature On Demand" issues
we had in 6.7. Try to enable all features. Go to Tools -> Plugins ->
Installed -> Select All plugins -> press activate. Restart Netbeans. (I
know this sounds strange ... )
If nothing helps then I guess the best think would be to fill an issue,
see link [1] below, use component php, subcomponent editor and attach
messages.log that is to be found in <userdir>/var/log/messages.log.
Thanks!

Yes. No suggestion box just covers it :)
2. This is a PHP project; that is, you have the PHP version of NetBeans or the All version with the PHP support enabled? And you created the project as a new PHP project?
I've got "All versions" NB (the biggest pack) with PHP enabled.
I created New Project -> PHP -> PHP Application -> pressed Next -> pressed Finish

Well, maybe there is something wrong...I wasn't able to activate PHP plugin from here (Tools -> Plugins -> Installed), my PHP plugin was activate after creating new PHP project. I had my PHP disabled (after the instalation). I tried to activate but I was unable to select the plugin. So I've created project -> PHP -> PHP Application -> pressed Next and there was something like "Activating plugin...", then the project information window (there was the path to the project etc.) was opened and I pressed Finish. |

| If you need NB just because of php development maybe you could consider
to take just PHP build. I recommend it. Download:

Well I need NB for Java Apps. PHP is number 2 for me...but I'd like to use one IDE if possible. I was using NB 6.5 for Java and PHP and that one worked just fine.

Heh, heureka problem solved.
I've used "Module Manager" plugin (downloaded via NB, Tools -> Plugin -> Available plugins) to activate all feature (PHP, Java,...) and the code completion finally works
Thanks all of you guys for help. I really appreciate it. |
