|
|
Hello all ,
Thanks for the great IDE !
I have the following issue : recently my hosting comapany added some kind of a "legal term" message, that shows up every time you are logging via sftp or ssh to the server, which ended up showing in Netbeans ( 6.7 ) as a confirmation window ( with "OK" button at the bottom ) every time i save a file , whether i am doing it manually or upload "on save" , i am working on the server 100% of the time so this became extremely annoying.
After i talked with the support at my hosting company i was told that they won't remove the message.
I am seeing 2 things here
1) Netbeans does not maitain a permanent connection to the server ( so it makes a new one when you are saving / uploading ) so i am getting the "legal notice'
2) i can't tell Netbeans to supress it .
This is becoming an issue when you are hitting "save" many , many times a day , and using an sftp client on the side to upload a file just slows you down ...
So ... any help ? Is there something i can do to suppress the message,
or tell netbeans to stay permanently connected ?
I am not 100% sure how it's done on the SFTP server level , but on a general Linux box i think one used to put those kind of messages into the "/etc/issue" so whenever you are logging in you are seeing them.
Help !! |
