I googled the subject and found
http://www.rubyinside.com/ruby-gui-programming-survey-results-1552.html
I am curious too what people who are using NetBeans Ruby are using.

I would like to ask a simple question on Netbeans Gui development for
Ruby. Am I right in assuming that the to develop a gui in Netbeans for
Ruby the only way would be to use Jruby and Swing?
Does/Has many people used this as an option (Jruby & Swing), what were
your experiences? For Gtk and Qt is there some Netbeans support I am
unaware of?
Cheers

Thats a good link I reallt like Monkeybars http://monkeybars.rubyforge.org/ which allows users to use jruby and swing in netbeans to develop gui's for applications. I am definitely going to investigate this option further.
Shoes topped the survey, but the links are dead since why_the lucky stiff's departure, I did find a github address for shoes http://github.com/shoes/shoes, but its unclear whether much if any development of shoes will continue after why's departure. |
