Hi,

I consider installing 6.71 back. Cause almost every minute i get this error:
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=172726

It is a known and even solved bug. But still in the release, i downed yesterday. My knowledge about java is zero, but is there any update to download which can fix this???

Other down-things in 6.8
- <?php... ?> is folded as a method.... Sad
- i could not found __construct to generate from scratch yet

I hope someone has a link to a an window-update for the bug, else i really have to go back to 6.71

Greetz, Joly

It seems it has something to do with ftp+ onsave.

The error occurred mostly (but not always!) when saving. So i tried the option 'manually' in the run-configuration (ftp). For an hour now, i have had not one error Smile

I try to make a workaround with a macro:
save+upload
But the macro does not work yet. For now a shortkey like alt-u = upload will do

But it is still very annoying.

Positive:
6.8 (sometimes) collapses an 'if'-block > that is really great!

Hi,

this exception is very hardly reproducible and it's weird you are
experiencing it in 6.8m2. Anyway, I'd suggest you to use new development
build of 6.8. Try to download from [4] and report the exception whenever
it occurs. It should be fixed actually, so you shouldn't face it anymore
and if yes then the issue will be reopened so we will try to figure out
what's going on from new reports.

Thanks a lot!

IMHO it's not the exact issue, but anyway - could you please help us? Download
the dev build [1], reproduce your steps that cause this error and file an issue
[2]. That would be very appreciated.

Thanks a lot,
Tomas

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.
I did post the error a few times by the netbeans-feature from the editor (as a guest). I felt like spamming Wink

I looked at the build in the first reply, but i really don't know what to do with it. I need a stupid win-executable.... sorry...

I looked at the dowload-development section but those are from 17/10.

Where can i find the latest windows php-version you advice me to use? (feeling stupid, but being on bad deadline, so i dont care at the moment Embarassed )

Thanks!
Joly

open URL I sent you earlier [1], download the ZIP file (in section "Last
Successful Artifacts", currently NetBeans-dev-2009-10-19_12-06-35 -php.zip),
unpack it, navigate to its "bin" directory and run netbeans.exe.

HTH,

WOWWWWW
THANKSSSSS

It works! The nightly build just works!
And the very annoying irritating error is totally gone, dead! My files are nicely uploaded automaticly as before Wink
I love 6.8! Although it collapses a bit to much Wink

Only one (different) error occurred the last hour.

note:
When running this version the first time it only saw my left config from 6.7 and not the lastest config 6.8M2....
After removing \6.7 and \dev and even re-unzipping the netbeans-dev it did not check again for any config. But directly build its own. (so I used export/import)

Very Happy Joly Very Happy
