|

Hi there,
since the update to version 6.7 I am not able to scroll in Netbeans using the TrackPoint of my ThinkPad. In Netbeans 6.5 (and 6.0) scrolling works just fine.
Any suggestions? |

| With a fresh install of 6.7 on Ubuntu 9.04 my trackpoint worked. But on a related note it is constantly popping up menus when i scroll over text using the trackpoint. Any idea how to stop this behavior? |

I have the same issue on Linux. When using trackpoint and middle click for scrolling the menu pops up every time.
Any solution for me?
Thanks |

heya,
Yeah, I experienced the same issue under Linux as well.
I posted an issue with Netbeans here:
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=173927
and somebody replied it was probably an issue with the Java runtime.
I checked in another Java app (BucketExplorer) and it indeed had the same issue.
I guess I should file an issue against the JRE. I'm surprised nobody else has encountered this issue? (I couldn't find it in the existing list of issues).
Cheers,
Victor |
