|
|
I downloaded the latest NetBeans 6.7.1 (ALL) for Windows and installed it on my Windows workstation with no problems. I need to develop a Swing App so I did a File->New Project, selected Java and expected to see a 'Java Desktop Application' project type in the 'Projects:' selection window. There is no 'Java Desktop Application' project type listed.
It is there in NetBeans 6.7.1 for Linux that I installed a couple of months ago on my Linux workstation.
Could someone buy me a clue please?
Thanks,
Barry |

Could be a feature activation bug. Try this:
* Go to Tools | Plugins
* Select Installed tab and check Details
* Find GUI Builder and if not activated, check it and activate it. If it
appears as activated, then deactivate first (might require restart), then go
back and activate again.
Does it help?
