|
|
I'm brand new to netbeans and trying to use it for PHP code and projects. The color highlighting be default for PHP is a bit different than what I'm used to, and I found this post and download for setting the colors to more traditional PHP schemes...
http://forums.netbeans.org/post-46850.html
But I have no idea who to install the contents of the archive it creates when unzipped. The top directory is named config, but beyond that I'm lost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

| I should have said I'm on NetBeans 6.5 on Ubuntu. There is no Import button at the bottom of Tools -> Options -> Fonts and Colors, as there is apparently under Windows. |

have a look at your userdir, it will likely be ~/.netbeans/<nb-version> (have
a look at Help > About dialog). But perhaps first create a backup of it before
copying/changing any files in it (it is not advised to make any changes in the
userdir manually).
HTH,
Tomas

nothing to do with OS, this possibility was added in NB 6.7.
