|
|
Hi,
I am using Netbeans 6.7.1 for C++ development on CentOS 5.3.
When debugging a fairly large executable, I receive a dialog box in Netbeans entitled "Error: Unexpected GDB Failure", with the message "The GDB Debugger has exited unexpectedly with a return code of 139".
Checking with ps, I can indeed see that gdb is no longer running.
However, if I run gdb at the command line to debug the same binary with the same breakpoints, the problem does not occur. Similarly, the problem does not occur when debugging the same binary through Eclipse.
Has anyone seen this or can recommend some way to track down the problem?
Thanks |
