Relitivly New to NetBeans, Brand New to C++

Hey,

I have used NetBeans for a number of other programming languages, including Pythin, PHP, and Java, but I am wanting to try the C++ side of things. I am in need of a compiler and some other variouse tools and things that NetBeans is telling me that I need to be able to run my stuff... Being new to C++, I have no Idea what exactly it is that I am looking for, and I have been unsuccessful in my search for an answer to this question elsewhere. So, what do I need, starting clean, to run my C++ scripts from NetBeans?
