Project not getting built in Netbeans.

Hi ,

I am new to Netbeand 6.5.1. Everytime I do a change in my java code, I 'clean and build' the project. Inspite of that my changes do not get reflected and I have to close the workspace and re-build my project multiple times, sometimes even have to restart the system. Is there a way to get rid of this weird problem? It is wasting my time a lot.

Any help will be appreciated.

hello,

are you trying to run the main project after changes to see the effects of the changes? or are you trying to create a new executable jar file?

after making changes, make sure you save it and try compiling it with F9 and then press the green arrow button at the toolbar (or F6) to run the main project with the changes.
