NetBeans 6.7 using Glassfish v2.1
I modified the tutorial Generating a JavaServer Faces CRUD Application from a Database (http://www.netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/jsf-jpa-crud-wizard.html) for a web catalog app.
There were a lot of mods, needless to say, as I needed to remove a "layer" because the 'consultant' entity I do not need. This left some holes to fill...
making a long story short, when attempting to login, I get the above error. I know the username and password are correct, and there is only one user in that table.
I have checked my AuthenticationPhaseListner, UsersJpaController, etc...not sure where to turn. I do realize this could be received as a little vague, I will be happy to provide more info...
I really need to get this app going, not sure where to turn for help.
Btw, I created the Consultant project and it works great!
Thanks,
Phil |

| Well it's odd, because there are no exceptions in the GlassFish output. When I originally posted this, I do believe there were exceptions, but now when I run it I get nothing in the output. Not sure where to turn...or how to debug this. |

of course you can debug it... the EntityManager only works on a EJB container

If I could only figure out how to use NetBeans Debugger... I am probably going to back up quite a bit and learn more of the basics.
Thanks |
